陳煒, 1993年畢業於廈門大學生物化學專業,2002年於四川大學華西醫學院獲得醫學遺傳專業碩士學位,2002-2006年在德國柏林馬普分子遺傳學研究所師從國際著名人類醫學遺傳學家H.Hilger Ropers教授攻讀博士,2006年底獲得博士學位後即被聘為馬普青年科學家小組組長,2009年被聘為德國馬科斯·德爾布呂克分子醫學中心醫學系統生物學研究所基因組中心主任,負責籌建當時德國乃至歐洲最具規模的基因組中心之一,2012-2015年作為主要策劃人參與了德國教研部支持的德國最大轉化醫學中心柏林健康研究所的創建。2015年通過全球招聘成為德國馬科斯·德爾布呂克分子醫學中心兼柏林夏洛蒂醫學院終身正(w3)教授, 2016年入選中組部第十二批千人計畫(創新人才)。現為南方科技大學生物系講席教授。
