閔革勇：男 ，2003年獲英國格拉斯哥大學計算機科學博士學位。一直致力於計算機網路和多媒體技術的研究，在下一代網際網路、多媒體通信、移動計算、信息安全等領域取得了一系列具有國際影響力的創新性研究成果。在國際重要學術期刊/會議發表論文總計250多篇，其中120餘篇國際期刊論文，其學術論文獲得多個IEEE國際會議最佳論文獎。其研究工作得到了歐盟（FP）、英國工程物理科學研究委員會（EPSRC，相當於中國國家自然科學基金委員會）、英國皇家學會、皇家工程院、英國NUFFIELD科學基金、以及工業界著名企業如摩托羅拉、國際海上衛星通訊公司和英國InforSense Ltd公司等的資助。現任6個國際期刊的編委、15個國際期刊專刊的編輯，先後擔任了16個國際會議/研討會的大會主席和程式委員會主席，80多個國際學術會議的程式委員會委員，並在多個國際學術會議與研討會上做大會特邀主題報告。其學術貢獻和創新成果主要體現在如下5個方面：異構無線網路的融合及資源管理；大型多集群系統網際網路；網路交換技術；網路與信息安全；無線感測器網路的能量有效性。
