銅銦硒多晶薄膜光伏電池具有高的轉換效率、低的製造成本、性能穩定和不存在光致衰退等特點,正成為最有前途的薄膜光伏器件。然而,銅銦硒薄膜光伏技術仍存在一些關鍵問題亟待解決,主要包括銅銦硒薄膜電池中各層材料以及層間界面的基本科學問題,比如銅銦硒吸收層中柱狀晶粒的製備、化學成分漲落、缺陷形成和層內晶界行為等。我們提出了銅銦硒納米線太陽能電池的概念,為解決銅銦硒電池中存在的基本的材料和界面問題提供了新思路。其基本思想是:可控合成銅銦硒納米材料,通過製備銅銦硒納米材料器件,結合材料表征和物性測量技術,直接研究銅銦硒光伏器件中存在的材料和界面問題,包括材料中的成分漲落現象、缺陷形成機理,界面和晶界行為,及其對器件性能的影響;另外,納米線既可提供大的表/界面積用來形成p-n結,又能成為載流子傳輸通道,有助於的電荷空穴的有效分離和載流子的迅速傳輸,為高效廉價的銅銦硒光伏器件的研發奠定基礎。
