劇情簡介
主要講述了一對年輕的夫婦帶著孩子在田園般的島嶼上避暑消夏。他們遇到一個被遺棄的流浪癩狗，爸爸建議把它送到動物保護機構，但孩子請求留下這條狗。一家人達成折衷的協定：孩子可以幫助弗蘭克恢復健康，但必須在夏季結束時把它送到動物保護機構。當弗蘭克的身體慢慢康復，它為這個家庭帶來了意想不到的事情。但它漸漸融入了這個家庭，並以其獨有的方式使這個家庭更加和睦。
