The day is gone, and all its sweets are gone!
Sweet voice, sweet lips, soft hand, and softer breast,
Warm breath, light whisper, tender semi-tone,
Bright eyes, accomplish'd shape, and lang'rous waist !
Faded the flower and all its budded charms,
Faded the sight of beauty from my eyes,
Faded the shape of beauty from my arms,
Faded the voice, warmth, whiteness, paradise-
Vanish'd unseasonably at shut of eve,
When the dusk holiday or holy night
Of fragrant-curtain'd love begins to weave
The woof of darkness thick, for hid delight;
But, as I've read love's missal through to-day,
He'll let me sleep, seeing I fast and pray.

作者簡介
約翰·濟慈（John·Keats，1795年10月31日—1821年2月23日），出生於18世紀末年的倫敦，傑出的英國詩人作家之一，浪漫派的主要成員。濟慈才華橫溢，與雪萊、拜倫齊名。他去世時年僅25歲，可他遺下的詩篇譽滿人間，他的詩被認為完美體現了西方浪漫主義詩歌特色，濟慈被人們推崇為歐洲浪漫主義運動的傑出代表。
