作者簡介
余衛華：博士、教授，出生於20世紀60年代的湖北省大冶市。現任教於廣東省廣東外語外貿大學英語語言文化學院。1979～1993年在武漢大學學習、任教並獲英語文學碩士學位。1998～2001年師從語言教育與跨文化研究方面的國際著名學者Michael Byram教授，在英國杜倫大學(University of Durham)教育學院攻讀語言教育專業，獲教育學博士學位。現從事的研究方向和興趣為：跨文化研究與雙語教育、比較教育學等。近年來，多次在國內外出版社和學術刊物發表學術著作和論文。
內容簡介
本書包含以下六大部分內容：第一部分內容為文化研究、跨文化意識、跨文化交際、跨文化能力等術語的基本定義和基本概念；第二部分內容為國際化和全球化的性質、特點、含義及其異同；第三部分內容為語言、社會與文化身份之間的關係；第四部分內容為思維定勢與偏見；第五部分內容為跨文化交際的研究範圍以及跨文化交際與教育的關係；第六部分內容為跨文化能力及其培養，如何成功地實現不同文化之間的相互交際與理解以及跨文化交際與理解的各種前提條件等。
