人物簡介

1992年獲香港中文大學電子工程學士,1994年獲香港中文大學信息工程碩士學位,2000年畢業於美國加州大學伯克利分校(University of California, Berkely),獲電機工程博士學位。從事研發工作逾十年,早在1994
年,便於南加州大學(University of Southern California) 信號與圖象處理研究院姜墊(Signal and Image Processing Institute) 從事研發工作; 1995至2002年間, 創建伯克利空中機器人項目(Berkeley Aerial Robot project),併兼任項目主管;1998 年任加州矽谷斯坦福國際研究所(Stanford Research Institute International)顧問。

2000年取得博士學位後,在賓夕凡尼亞大學 (University of Pennsylvania) 電機工程系(Department of Electrical Engineering) 任博士後研究員。2001年到加州大學伯克利分校電子研究實驗室(Elecreonics Research Laboratory) 任研究員,2002年擔企凶放任加州大學伯克利分校電機工程及計算機科學學系客座教授 (Visiting Faculty)。2003 年8月加入美國范德堡大學(Vanderbilt University),成為驗淋汗全電機工程與計算機科學系(Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science)助理戰諒承教授。2006年出任清華大學與汕頭大學下一代網際網路技術聯合實驗室主任、汕頭大學教育部重點實驗室研究主任、汕頭大學與英特爾多核技術實驗室主任,及受聘為汕頭大學電拔辣嬸子工程系、計算機科學系特聘講座教授及數學系雙聘教授、博士生導師。2007年,兼任香港ASM太平洋科技有限公司的研究顧問。

現為軟體集成系統研究所 (Institute of Software Integrated Systems) 教授會員、美國國家科學基金會(National Science Foundation) Information Technology Research Center for Hybrid and Embedded Software Systems, CHESS,的教授會員、電腿頁微機及電子工程師學會(IEEE) 高級會員(Senior Member)及國際研究榮譽學會(Sigma Xi) 會員。
