謝湘生，男，現為廣東工業大學管理學院教授，1997年4月畢業於華南理工大學，獲博士學位。2000年12月晉升為教授。主持與參加過10多項國家級及省市級縱向科研項目與多項橫向課題的研究。在《Circuits Systems & Signal Processing》、《控制理論與套用》、《控制與決策》、《系統工程與電子技術》、《華南理工大學學報（自然科學版）》等國內外學術刊物及IFAC等國際學術會議上發表論文50多篇，其中收錄於三大索引SCI、EI及ISTP的論文14篇，收錄於人大複印資料的論文1篇；出版有專著一部,該專著列入了國家出版署九五重點圖書出版計畫。在管理科學與工程、企業管理專業指導過多名碩士研究生，在預測與決策、信息管理、生產管理、項目管理及物流管理等多個領域指導過MBA與工程碩士研究生。研究興趣包括：決策管理、金融工程、經濟動態系統、管理系統工程等。
