主要從事高分子光電材料及其器件研究，在光電材料設計、合成、微觀有序性控制及光伏器件的組裝等方面有極為豐富的經驗和深厚的研究功底。

Chem.等上相繼發表論文40餘篇，其中SCI 30餘篇，影響因子大於3的有10餘篇，在專業頂級期刊《Macromolecules》上發表論文3篇，被美國化學會(ACS) 每周新聞"Noteworthy Chemistry"重點點評，並受邀為《Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics》撰寫綜述。現主持國家自然科學基金、江西省自然科學基金、江西省教育廳重點項目等多項課題研究，曾獲得江西省自然科學二等獎和江西省高等學校科技成果二等獎，南昌大學優秀博士資助計畫和江西省優秀博士 。
