許少民(Shaomin Xu),男,廣東汕頭人,本科就讀於中山大學政務院,研究生就讀於亞太研究院(2015年更名為中大國際關係學院),曾為澳洲莫道克大學(Murdoch University)亞洲研究中心(Asia Research Center)博士候選人,現為澳洲西澳大學(The University of Western Australia)政治學和國際關係學系博士候選人。現任導師為國際關係著名學者馬必勝(Mark Beeson)。主要從事中國軟實力、中國外交和國際關係理論研究。

從2005年起至今發表國際政治經濟評論文章和論文超過60篇。文章刊登於《國際政治研究》、《國際論壇》、《南亞研究》、《公共外交季刊》、香港《21世紀國際評論》、香港《陽光》雜誌、香港《瞭望中國》雜誌、香港《明報》、廣州《南方都市報》、廣州《看世界》雜誌、新加坡《聯合早報》、香港《星島日報》、《知識博覽報》(國際熱點評論版)等紙質和電子媒體以及各大學術研究網站。外交觀察網、全球智庫觀察網、中國政治發展網、中國改革網、光明網光明觀察、中國智庫網等研究網站專欄作家。專著《中國軟實力研究批判(1992-2010)》已於2012年9月由台灣新文豐出版股份有限公司出版。
