1999年在中科院系統科學研究所獲得博士學位，2001- 2003在東北大學從事博士後研究工作。1999年破格晉升副教授，2001年破格晉升教授，2004年評為博士生導師。2005年入選教育部新世紀優秀人才支持計畫，2006年享受國務院政府特殊津貼，2011年評為山東省有突出貢獻的中青年專家，2012年擔任山東省高校優秀科研創新團隊負責人，2013年擔任山東省高等學校重點實驗室首席專家。目前擔任五種國際期刊編委，在國際控制理論頂尖期刊IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control、Automatica發表論文22篇。
