西方人文傳統研究

《西方人文傳統研究(500-1800)》所選思想內容和藝術作品主要根據兩個原則:一是它們必須代表它們所處時代的精神和價值觀,從某種角度上看也能代表永恆的價值觀(如達·文西的作品代表了當時人們探索宇宙運轉規律的決心,同時也代表人類永恆的價值觀);二是這些思想和作品要能對中國的文化發展具有啟發性。研究西方創造性文化遺產就是與西方一些偉大的思想家和藝術家的對話,研究他們的思想價值觀,然後用他們的價值觀來對照、比較我們的價值觀,從而擴大我們的文化視野。《西方人文傳統研究(500-1800)》擬從文本、與文本有關的各種文化背景及含義三個方面展開研究。
