內容簡介
高等院校設計藝術專業教材，分設計藝術理論、家具設計、室內設計三部分。其中設計理論部分介紹有關概念與視覺理論知識；家具設計部分介紹中外家具史及風格、用材、結構；室內設計部分，除設計史內容外，還增加室內視覺感知、室內設計方法等。課文有英語原文，課後是專業術語及辭彙注釋、練習和參考譯文。《藝術設計專業英語》可用作高等院校設計藝術類專業的專業教材外，還可供高職高專及有關培訓班選用作教材，也可也用作室內設計與家具設計方向的本科及研究生的專業英語教材。
作者簡介
李敏秀，女，1968年9月生千安徽巢湖，工學博士，研究方向為家具與室內設計。現為中南林業科技大學環境藝術設計學院副教授，設計藝術學碩士生導師，湖南省高校青年骨幹教師培養對象。近年來在《裝飾》《家具》《家具與室內設計》《中南林業科技大學學報》等刊物發：表論文二十餘篇。近年來主持了省級科研課題兩項，作為主要成員參加了國家社科基金藝術學項目兩項，中國木材節約與發展中心課題一項，並獲部級科技進步獎一項。2008年出版了個人專著《中西家具文化比較》。
