氣候動力學，從事氣溫變化規律及其異常特徵的形成機理研究。近期重點開展的工作圍繞極赤溫差的變化規律及其對中國氣候的影響展開。其它研究興趣還包括海溫異常及其與季風區氣候的聯繫。
