葉家琛，男，1944年2月16日生，浙江湖州人，代數學家。同濟大學數學系教授，博士研究生導師。長期從事基礎數學的教學工作和代數群的模表示理論及相關課題的科研工作，成績斐然。

1961年9月至1966年7月 華東師範大學數學系本科生
1978年10月至1984年12月 華東師範大學數學系研究生
1984年12月在華東師範大學獲得理學博士學位
工作經歷
1968年8月至1978年10月 四川省攀枝花市第十九冶金建設公司第一中學教師、副校長
1984年12月起，任同濟大學套用數學系講師、副教授，1990年晉升為教授。
1993年1月至6月訪問聯邦德國波恩的Max-Planck數學研究所
1996年3月至11月訪問義大利的里亞斯特的Abdus Salam理論物理國際中心
1997年12月訪問日本大阪的大阪市立大學
1998年4月至5月訪問澳大利亞悉尼的新南威爾斯大學
1999年5月至6月和2001年11月至2002年1月先後兩次訪問聯邦德國比勒菲爾特的比勒菲爾爾特大學
2002年1月到2007年12月受聘為Abdus Salam理論物理國際中心的高級協作員。
獲獎情況
與王建磐教授合作的項目《代數群模表示理論中的若干問題》獲得1987年度國家教委科技進步二等獎；
與陳承東教授合作的項目《代數群的模表示理論中的一些問題》獲得1996年度國家教委科技進步二等獎。
科研成果
自1989年以來負責主持的國家自然科學基金面上項目有: 《代數群表示理論的若干問題》、《代數群的模表示中的一些問題》、《代數群的模表示與子群結構》、《代數群的子群結構與表示理論》和《代數群、量子群與李代數的結構與表示》等五項，以及教育部博士點專項基金《代數群與量子群的模表示理論》等。
1991年被國務院學位委員會和國家教育委員會授予《做出突出貢獻的中國博士學位獲得者》稱號；
1998年被上海市教育委員會授予《優秀教育工作者》稱號。
關於李型有限群表示的研究論文被收入Springer-Verlag的Lecture Notes In Mathematics.
