人物生平
葉先揚，早年畢業於台灣成功大學，後赴美國留學，分別在布朗大學、哥倫比亞大學和南加州大學取得了套用數學碩士、工程力學碩士和結構力學博士學位。 1986葉先揚博士加入加州州立大學長灘分校機械工程系，現為該系教授。葉教授還曾經擔任過美國核電工程顧問公司的結構及核能工程師、美國太空總署(NASA)資深工程師、美國麥道飛機公司特約顧問等職務。葉教授的研究興趣主要包括複合材料力學、斷裂和損傷力學、結構和機械部件失效分析和設計。
