1985-89年，青島海洋大學生物系（現中國海洋大學），學士；
1993-96年，廣西農業大學獸醫微生物系，碩士；
1996-99年，中國海洋大學海洋生命學院，博士。

1989-93年，廣西獸醫研究所禽病研究室，助研。
1999-2001年，中國科學院海洋研究所，博士後。
2001-08，中國科學院海洋研究所，副研究員。
2004-05年，新加坡國立大學，高訪。
2008-至今，中國科學院海洋研究所，研究員。
研究方向
1. 水生生物細菌性病原的收集、分類和檢測，著重海水魚類病原菌的檢測和病害診斷；2. 重要魚類病原菌的致病機理，著重鰻弧菌、遲緩愛德華菌的分子致病機制；3. 魚類病害的免疫防治，著重口服疫苗和弱毒疫苗的研製和套用。
