目前世界通用的電視廣告經營方式之一.英國電視法明文規定:英國的電視廣告只準許廣告商向電視台購買節目間的廣告插播時間,所有電視節目不準由廣告商提供或資助.廣告商不得參與節目製作.廣告商在電視節目裡插播廣告,比在報刊雜誌上刊登廣告審查還要嚴格.任何節目,如觀眾反映有廣告商參與之嫌,政府和電視台當局有權加以追究、糾正或停播.
