胡鋇,教授、博士生導師、就職於University of Notre Dame、美國數學會教授委員會成員、中國人民大學兼職教授。現任Nonlinear Analysis: Real World Applications、Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems - Series B等國際知名雜誌副主編。主持美國國家科學基金6項。兩次獲得Kaneb教學獎。組織國際學術會議8次。在重要學術會議做邀請報告百餘次。在Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis、Comm. Partial Differential Equations、J. Differential Equations、SIAM Journal on MathematicalAnalysis、SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics、Transactions of the American Mathematical Society、Mathematical Models and Methods in Applied Sciences等知名雜誌發表論文百餘篇。
