基本信息
胡衛明,1998年1月在浙江大學計算機系獲工學博士學位。1998年3月進入北京大學計算機科學技術研究所(即北大方正技術研究院)博士後流動站,從事博士後研究工作。2000年4月起在中國科學院自動化研究所模式識別國家重點實驗室工作。曾多次到美國哥倫比亞大學和伊利諾伊斯大學厄巴那-香檳分校、英國雷丁大學和倫敦大學Birkbeck學院、法國波爾多第三大學以及澳大利亞Monash大學和臥龍崗大學做訪問研究。

學術成就
2004年以第二完成人獲北京市科學技術獎(自然科學類)一等獎,2008年以第一完成人獲北京市科學技術獎(基礎研究類)二等獎。先後主持了國家自然科學基金、國家高技術研究發展計畫、北京市自然科學基金等二十餘項科研項目。已在《IEEE Trans. on PAMI》等國際刊物、《中國科學》等國內一級刊物以及ICCV、ECCV、CVPR等重要國際學術會議上發表論文100餘篇,其中第一作者32篇。據不完全統計,到2009年12月為止SCI收錄20篇、EI收錄45篇、ISTP收錄32篇;SCI他引1001次、Google Schoolar他引2323次;單篇SCI他引用最高次數為263次、單篇Google Scholar他引最高次數536篇次。申請專利20餘項。負責完成的敏感圖像識別技術、興奮劑宣傳銷售信息識別技術得到了實際套用,負責開發了網路多模態有害信息過濾系統。有7年作為軟體工程師的軟體系統開發經歷,獨立完成原始碼20萬行以上,開發了多套軟體產品與實用系統在國內有關單位推廣使用,其中完成的商業化軟體產品—方正智繪地圖暈渲系統廣泛使用於測繪、地礦、農業、林業、出版等行業。
