湖北籍，中共黨員，1973年11月5日出生，2003年受聘武漢大學講師，2012年受聘武漢大學副教授，2012年8月赴西藏大學理學院對口支援工作一年。
1，英國東安格利亞（UEA）環境學院/TYNDALL氣候變化研究所，理學博士（2006-2010）；
2，荷蘭瓦赫寧恩大學環境科學系/ALTERRA研究所地理信息科學專業，理學碩士（2000-2002）；
3，武漢大學環境科學系環境規劃管理專業，本科/理學學士（1992-1996）。
研究領域與興趣
資源環境遙感與地面監測技術，農業、林業遙感套用，空間模型與模擬方法，空間決策支持以及氣候變化適應與減緩問題分析等

本科課程：遙感技術與套用，遙感影像的多學科套用，資源環境專業英語，地理科學專業英語，氣候變化減緩與適應（全英文），自然地理學（參與）；
