10Singaporeans are about to embark on a job adventure of a lifetime. They will get out of their comfort zones and take on the challenge to do the same job in other parts of Asia.

Each week, 1 Singaporean will spend 1 week with their Asian counterparts of the same job. They will live and work with their host and experience the reality of life that his co-worker resides in.
To help our participant understand better his task at hand, he or she will understudy their co-worker on the job and undergo a crash course to get them up to speed.
Besides uncovering the challenges that his co-worker faces, our participant will also explore the community-at-large. He will talk to neighbours, friends and even users of the services to understand the difference in experiences that people from these other countries have.
On the final day, our Singaporean participants will take over the reins and spend a day on the job. It will be no mean feat even for the most seasoned veterans of the trade.
They will be challenged physically and emotionally as their jobs will become a potentially shocking experience. Faced with vastly different cultural backgrounds and working conditions, can they step out of their comfort zones and step up to the challenge?
Job X-Change will test the limits of their abilities and push them out of their emotional comfort zone to examine how people with the same job can lead such different lives.
