主要研究領域

microRNA是近幾年成為研究熱點的一大類小分子RNA,由於它的普遍性、複雜性和重要性,使之成為目前各種生物體功能與發育研究的熱門對象,特別是 microRNA在癌症的發生、發展中起著極為關鍵的作用。我們的工作主要利用基因晶片、高通量測序等全基因組研究手段,闡明在不同白血病類型中的 microRNA的特異表達情況,以及它們與不同種類白血病的發病關係;通過分析基因調控區甲基化水平、基因拷貝數、組蛋白修飾情況等表觀遺傳學因素,研究microRNA差異表達的機理;同時利用造血幹細胞分化培養、RNAi技術、轉基因小鼠模型等,在體外和體內系統中分別研究microRNA及其靶基因對於白血病的發生髮展、血細胞種系的分化所起到的作用。
藥物遺傳學(Pharmacogenetics and Pharmacogenomics)是將遺傳學、基因組學、生物信息學、臨床醫學和藥學有機結合在一起的前沿學科,為實現個體化醫療奠定重要的基礎。我們的工作主要利用Genome-Wide Association Study,研究個體基因結構與表達差異(如SNP、mRNA、miRNA、CNV等)和多種抗癌藥物對個體回響或毒性差異的關聯性,為臨床醫療和藥物試驗提供依據。
