章梓茂現為北京交通大學海濱學院院長，致力於物理方面的學術研究。章梓茂於1990年取得哈爾濱工業大學博士學位。曾歷任北京交通大學副教授，教務處副處長、處長，理學院院長等職。先後在國內外發表學術論文50餘篇，主要作品有“雙相介質參數反演的遺傳算法”、“強震作用下地埋結構的數值模型”等。
