項目摘要

石墨烯是由碳原子緊密堆積形成的單層蜂窩狀結構,具有獨特的量子效應和電學性能,是研究凝聚態物理學基本問題的模型材料。本項目採用化學摻雜/修飾的方法,調製石墨烯的能帶結構以及物理化學特性,研究量子效應對於石墨烯表面化學修飾的調控作用。利用超高真空變溫掃描隧道顯微鏡/分子束外延/原位電學性質測量系統,在SiC基底上製備層數可控的石墨烯;選擇具有高反應活性的分子(例如重氮鹽)和含有芳香基團的分子對石墨烯進行共價或非共價化學修飾;探索量子效應對於石墨烯表面化學修飾的調控作用,建立石墨烯的層數,分子吸附/修飾的表面形貌,電子結構和電學特性之間的一一對應關係。本研究是在分子水平上對石墨烯的性能調控,這是表面化學,凝聚態物理學,材料科學研究中最前沿的課題,為石墨烯在納電子領域的套用研究提供詳實的實驗依據。
