人物生平
1967－1978年中科院地球化學研究所從事第四紀地質和環境地質研究。1981年中科院研究生院地震地質（新構造）專業研究生畢業，獲理學碩士學位。1984年留學澳大利亞國立大學物理系和阿德萊德大學物理系。1985年回國在國家地震局地質研究所工作。次年兼任中國科學院黃土與第四紀地質國家重點實驗室副主任、研究員、博士生導師。
出版著作
與劉東生等合著《黃土的物質成分和結構》、與沈承德等合著《14C測年方法及其套用》、與劉東生等合著《黃土與環境》等書，與丁國瑜等合著《中國及鄰海岩石圈動力學圖集》，與台益合等合譯《風揚粉塵與沉積物》。在國內外發表論文110餘篇，其中17篇在國外重要刊物發表。
