異質郵票指以非紙質材料印製的郵票.印製郵票的質料，絕大多數是各種紙張，只有很少數採用了其他材料，如金屬箔、絲綢、塑膠等.其中較有代表性的有：金屬箔郵票，是在金屬箔和薄紙的複合材料上壓印出的郵票；絲綢郵票。
