瑪瓦·柯林斯

瑪瓦·柯林斯(Marva Collins)是美國最為成功的教育家之一,她給學生們帶來了自信,創造了教育的奇蹟。1975年,她在芝加哥自己的居所里創建了一所學校,說是學校,其實只有四個學生。當時,芝加哥市中心是出了名的毒品和犯罪蔓延的黑色地區,許多貧困青少年也跟著學壞、墮落。

簡介

柯林斯的學生正是那些由於品行惡劣或者成績太差而離開學校的學生。結果,她創造了奇蹟。她的學生們慢慢不再想著街頭的熱鬧,居然耐住性子在教室中學習。她的學生也從四個,變為成百上千,甚至開起了一所又一所的分校。那些曾經的問題孩子們畢業後成為了律師、醫生、公務員……當然,最多的還是教師——繼續柯林斯的教育事業。

I think i did pretty wonderful, I think I'm bright. I think I am unique. And I'll teach every child of me to think that.

When they misbehave, their punishment is they have to write 100 reasons why they are too wonderful to do what they are doing.And they have to be ahlpha order.
