出生於1984年11月21日，琳賽·霍恩是Jimmy Haun（錄音藝術家和左手的吉他手）的女兒, 同時她是歌Rouvaun的孫女。她的母親是編舞。

她在銀屏的第一次露面是演唱插曲Anything But Love，她的第一部電影角色是在1995年的Village of the Damned中飾演Mara，一個冷酷無情的領導者。
