男,1961年11月生。博士,教授,博士生導師。教育部半乾旱氣候變化重點實驗室研究人員,中國氣象局蘭州乾旱氣象研究所客座研究員(2014.1—);凍土工程國家重點實驗室客座研究員(2003-2005年)。蘭州大學教育學院兼職碩士生導師。第一屆全國氣候與氣候變化標準化技術委員會委員;全國氣候與氣候變化標準化技術委員會風能太陽能氣候資源分技術委員會委員(SAC/TC540/SC2);CNC-CliC/IACS 委員;中國氣象學會動力氣象委員會委員;中國氣象學會統計預報委員會委員;中國氣象學會氣候變化與低碳發展委員會;中國氣象學會第27屆乾旱氣象委員會委員;甘肅省氣象學會第十屆氣候與氣候變化委員會副主任委員。WCRP_CN委員會委員;國際GEWEX中國委員會副秘書長。IUGG-IACS中國委員會委員(2012-2015);中國地理學會會員;甘肅省第五屆工程決策諮詢專家(2012.1—2016.12);甘肅省青少年科技創新大賽評審委員會委員(2012-2016);《Sciences in Cold and Arid Regions》(創刊—2013年);《冰川凍土》,《乾旱氣象》 雜誌編委。

研究方向
青藏高原氣候學、季風、乾旱區氣候、數值模式和模擬,風(光)電功率預測,短期氣候預測;
學術獲獎
已發表科研論文100餘篇,教育教學論文5篇;著有《大氣數值模式及模擬》、《氣候變化與荒漠化》。主持完成國家自然基金多項;目前主持國家自然基金重點項目1項,面上項目2項,參加國家“973”項目、氣象行業專項各1項;參加國家。主持完成甘肅省科技進步獎一項,教學成果獎一項。培養碩士生30餘名,博士生10餘名,博士後3名。
