王忠剛,大連理工大學化工學院高分子材料系教授。1989年7月畢業於吉林大學化學系高分子化學與物理專業,獲理學學士學位,1995年1月畢業於中科院長春套用化學研究所高分子化學與物理專業,獲理學博士學位。1995年1月至1997年1月在北京大學化學與分子工程學院做博士後,1997年3月至1998年3月在日本旭化成公司中央基礎研究所做訪問研究員,1998年3月至2001年8月在中科院化學研究所任副研究員,2001年8月至2004年8月先後在德國德勒斯登萊布尼茨高分子研究所和德國亥姆霍茲協會GKSS研究中心做訪問研究員,2004年10月至今為大連理工大學化工學院高分子材料系教授、博士生導師。入選2006年度教育部“新世紀優秀人才支持計畫”。

近年作為負責人承擔了國家自然科學基金項目(50673014, 20874007, 51073030, 51273031, 51473026, U1462125)以及教育部“新世紀優秀人才支持計畫”基金(NCET-06-0280)、教育部“留學回國人員科研基金”[外司留(2005)546]和遼寧省自然科學基金(20052185)等項目。
