超低溫生物學、植物生物技術、分子生物學、植物組織培養、植物病毒學。
主要學術成績及創新成果
A.1984-1990年間,主要研究扦插繁殖機理與技術。以Hibiscus rosa-sinensis為試材, 首次在國際上報導母株年齡和光照條件是影響插條生根的關鍵因素。明確指出,適合於Hibiscus rosa-sinensis扦插繁殖的母株年齡為3年,母株暗處理或遮光處理有利於插條生根。上述研究共發表5篇論文,其中在國際刊物上發表1篇,國內刊物上4篇,應邀參加國際學術會議一次。
B.1991-1995年間,主要研究蘋果與梨試管苗繁殖的機理與技術。揭示了蘋果與梨莖尖外植體褐變的機理;建立了克服蘋果與梨莖尖外植體褐變的有效方法、促進蘋果與梨試管苗增殖的關鍵技術、梨試管苗的直接生根技術及蘋果試管苗微型嫁接技術。上述研究共發表11篇論文,其中在國際刊物(SCI)上發表6篇,國內刊物上5篇,應邀參加國際學術會議兩次。
C.1999-2008年間,主要研究園藝植物與薯類植物的超低溫冷凍機理與技術,轉基因技術和分子生物學技術。對國際該領域的主要學術貢獻包括:a. 成功地建立了葡萄、柑桔、馬鈴薯、甘薯、樹梅等植物的莖尖和細胞的超低溫冷凍保存技術;b. 把超低溫冷凍技術與轉基因技術結合,顯著提高葡萄轉基因細胞的轉化率與成苗率;c. 成功地建立了葡萄、馬鈴薯、甘薯等植物的莖尖超低溫冷凍脫毒技術和脫除甘薯植原體技術;d. 成功地創立了熱處理加莖尖超低溫冷凍脫毒技術,有效地脫除了樹莓叢狀矮化病毒; e. 利用生物技術、分子生物學技術、組培技術、超低溫冷凍技術、病毒定位技術、電鏡技術、解剖技術等揭示了莖尖超低溫冷凍脫除病原菌的機理。成為國際上莖尖超低溫冷凍脫除病原菌研究的奠基人之一。上述研究在國際刊物上(SCI)發表14篇論文。主編專著章節5章。應邀參加國際學術會議三次,並作大會發言。
