2005年9月~ 2010年6月，香港科技大學生物化學系，獲哲學博士學位。
2010年8月~ 2011年2月，香港科技大學生命科學部，助理研究員。
2011年3月~ 2012年8月，香港科技大學生命科學部，研究助理教授。
2012年8月~至今，中國科學院上海有機化學研究所，“百人計畫”研究員、課題組長。
研究領域
1.綜合利用結構生物學（核磁共振和X射線晶體衍射）、生物化學、細胞生物學、有機化學等手段來探究與人類疾病相關的重要生命科學問題並闡述其深層次的作用機制，具體包括：研究纖毛（cilium）發育及其功能維持的分子機理和結構基礎，從結構角度來揭示基因變異導致遺傳性纖毛疾病的致病機理；研究與癌症、炎症、老齡化相關的mTOR信號通路、細胞自噬（Autophagy）、細胞壞死（Necroptosis）領域的重要蛋白質及其複合物的結構與功能關係；研究老年痴呆症、帕金森症等神經退化性疾病，從原子層面來揭示相關的致病及調控機理。
2. 活性小分子的化學生物學研究，具體包括：天然活性小分子與靶點蛋白相互作用的機制研究；基於SAR-by-NMR方法，針對與癌症、炎症等疾病相關的重要生物靶點的小分子先導物的篩選和最佳化，及後期基於此先導物的機理和功能研究。
