內容提要
為了更好揭示語言與性別之間的互動關係，本書運用民族學的方法對發生在三個漢語言語社區的939個稱讚語進行了實地考察和定性、定量分析。我們首先考察了稱讚語在不同性別組和角色關係上的總體分布情況，然後將相關情景因素保持一致，深入作了一些情景對比，旨在進一步突出性別間的關係等。
