“口語化”是如今的大趨勢。咬文嚼字的人越來越受到公眾交往的限制。可是，口語也有問題。因為它言太簡，太模糊。而且，一語多義的情況普遍存在，增加了不少猜測和誤會。
天哪！語言和人一塊進入了新世紀。
由此，我們兩個喜歡玩口語的人，就想從當代漢語流行口語入手，拋開語法，做一點活的研究。目的是幫助學漢語並早晚要和中國打交道的人明白，站在你面前侃侃而談的那位，他到底是什麼意思！
當然，話語是全面的信息。既然涉入語言，就不得不在歷史的，文化，心理的若干方面做些交待。
吹點牛吧，如果說應該有一門“後訓詁學”的話，這本甘為前驅。
