社團的宗旨： 通過富有意義的社團活動，激發同學的環境保護意識、提高大學生文化素質修養。同時，使校園生活更加多姿多彩，使校園環境永葆美麗、安靜，達到豐富校園生活的目的。我們本著不斷學習新的環保理念，來促進團隊的融合，旨在促進人與自然的和諧、人與人的友善、人與社會的互融；弘揚校園文化、女性文化、自然文化於一體的有機結合。
我們的口號：從我做起，從小事做起，用行動感化他人。協會的發展和定位：昱園環保協會是以宣傳教育為中心，開展和組織各類活動，在活動中達到會員自我教育及教育他人的目的，將綠色文明的理念深入人心。
協會發展方向： 今後昱園環保協會不再局限以宣傳環境教育為中心，在日常工作中也會加入一些自然認知或者戶外野營之類的活動，用以拓寬會員的視野，豐富自己的知識，為生活增添色彩。讓會員在尋找快樂的同時懂得做環保公益活動的重要性。
我們的目標：我們希望通過一個團隊的構建，在一次次的環保實踐活動中，不斷更新對環保的認識，提高社員整體的認識，作出活動影響；對外建立良好的交流和學習關係，共同學習環保理念；同時將社員的資源發揮最大化的運作，並逐漸組建一個機制完善的社團結構。在這個過程中，學習通過對各色的公益的環保的活動的方式（比如：環教、義務扶助、下鄉考察、問卷調查等形式），加深對環保的認識，呼籲環境保護；並達到對提高社員自身的修養，發揮社員自身的能力的作用。
