6月3號，“洋蔥新聞”(onion news)拍了第一部DVD --- 《the Onion Movie》，作為冬粉當然第一時間找來看了，一貫的“洋蔥”，笑到流眼淚。不了解Onion News的同志，李有鬼老師的“新聞亂播”就是對應的中文版。不過Onion News有自己的文字報導、新聞視頻、出版物等等，總之都是“假新聞”，非常荒誕，但對現實諷刺的厲害，極度搞笑這次的電影又把美國各族裔損了個遍，損得尤其厲害的是白人和亞裔。美語裡有個詞叫”wigga”，專指故意在語言、穿著、行為上模仿黑人的白人（由於黑人音樂、電影文化的盛行，這種白人小青年隨處可見），在這部洋蔥新聞里，他們都被當成negro抓起來了，有一哥們兒被推進警車的時候還大喊：“可是我是白人！我爸我媽都是白人！”
損亞裔尤其損的不露聲色。新聞中間請了兩位嘉賓評價內容，一位大約是“黑人影協”的會員（注！），另一位是亞裔。那位黑人說：“電影都播了快30分鐘了，目前看到的黑人都是反面形象，繼續這么下去我們很擔心，希望在下十分鐘裡就看到關於黑人的正面報導。”然後主持人轉向那位亞裔：“電影都30分鐘了，裡面沒什麼關於亞洲人的鏡頭，您認為是什麼原因造成了這種‘不被重視’的現象呢？”那位亞裔說了一句話，(那個亞洲人想說的應該是“me no likey”也就是“我不喜歡”的意思，也許是發音不準確，發成“me no rikey”了日語沒有L的音 把L都發成R。。)主持人不解他為什麼這么說。。。請他重複一遍，然後只好說：“好吧，讓我們把畫面切回到新聞。”
上段文字中的“‘黑人影協’的會員”其實是一個很沒常識的低級錯誤，首先有沒有這個“黑人影協”是個問題，其次此人顯然是在惡搞世界唯一超級大國（新華社語）第44任美國總統（第56屆、第43位）總統巴拉克·海珊·歐巴馬（小）（Barack Hussein Obama Jr.），這片子拍的時候他應該正為競選打得火熱~
精彩對白
諾姆·阿徹：現在是“洋蔥新聞”時間……我是諾姆·阿徹，大家晚安，去你媽的。
“雞雞終結者”：我不認為你有睪丸。
諾姆·阿騰：今天早上，網際網路上已經風平浪靜長達三個小時的時間了，這推動了整個國家的生產效率。斷線率提升了從紐約到加州的工作人員的有效時間，同時還防止了至少1億2千萬名美國雇員在工作期間借著上網去浪費時間。
幕後花絮
最初的時候，《洋蔥電影 》這部影片被暫定於2003年後半年公映，卻因為電影公司的橫加干涉，始終無緣院線，並於2008年6月被直接製作成了DVD。據說發行商福克斯探照燈公司之所以會做出這樣的選擇，是源於影片的試映會上的觀眾反響太過冷清。
