沈祥興，男，漢族，教授級高級工程師，研究生導師，武漢大學信息管理學院實驗中心主任，數字圖書館研究所所長（兼）、高等學校實驗教學和儀器設備專家，先後在國內外知名刊物、國際學術會議上發表論文50多篇，研究方向為信息系統工程和數字圖書館等，曾赴日本東京創價大學研修半年、タツミヤ株式會社研修1年、歐洲多國和香港考察。
