沈波，生於1981年1月，浙江舟山人。現任東華大學信息科學技術學院教授，博士生導師。曾在香港大學電機與電子工程系擔任研究助理，英國布魯奈爾大學訪問博士生，獲得洪堡基金資助擔任德國杜伊斯堡埃森大學DFG項目研究員。連續入選上海高校特聘教授（東方學者）崗位計畫、上海市青年拔尖人才計畫、上海市曙光計畫和上海市青年科技啟明星計畫等多項人才計畫，並獲全球2015高被引科學家稱號。
師從國際著名自動控制學科專家、英國布魯奈爾大學教授和東華大學長江學者王子棟教授。一直從事隨機濾波與控制理論及其套用方面的研究，在多指標隨機控制與濾波、網路化控制與信號處理以及感測器網路與複雜系統等方面取得了多項研究結果，並擔任培養學生的工作。

沈波，東華大學信息科學與技術學院教授、博士生導師。
2003年7月畢業於西北工業大學套用數學系，獲理學學士學位；
2011年3月 畢業於東華大學信息科學與技術學院，獲工學博士學位。
2009年8月至2010年2月在香港大學電機與電子工程系擔任研究助理；
2010年3月至2011年2月在英國布魯奈爾大學信息計算與數學學院擔任訪問博士生；
2011年5月至2013年5月在德國杜伊斯堡-埃森大學自動控制與複雜系統研究所擔任德國科學基金會（DFG）項目研究員。
目前出版第一作者英文專著1部， 發表論文40餘篇，SCI收 錄30餘篇，SCI他引1200餘次，第一作者論文中有15篇 進入ESI高被引論文行列，2篇 入選2011年中國百篇最具影響國際學術論文。主持國家自然科學基金面上項目1項，主持完成國家自然科學基金青年基金項目1項， 參與完成國家自然科學基金、上海市自然科學基金、德國科學基金會（DFG）等國內 外項目3項，先後入選上海市青年科技啟明星計畫與上海市曙光計畫。研究成果獲國家 自然科學獎二等獎（排名第四），博士論文被評為上海市優秀博士論文、並獲全國優秀博士學位論文提名獎。
目前是IEEE會員，亞洲控制協會會員，中國系統仿真學會智慧型物聯繫統建模與仿真專業委員會委員，中國自動化學會青年工作委員會委員，中國自動化學會控制理論專業委員會隨機系統控制學組委員等，並受邀擔任香港研究資助局（RGC）基金項目的評審專家及中國國家自然科學基金項目的評閱人，擔任國際期刊System Science and Control Engineering編輯，Journal of The Franklin Institute副編輯，Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing副編輯，Neurocomputing編 委，Mathematical Problems in Engineering編委以及30多 個國際SCI期刊的審稿人，並獲2次IEEE Trans. Automatic Control傑出審稿人、1次Asian Journal of Control傑出審稿人和1次IET Control Theory & Applications前5%最活躍審稿人稱號。
