博士, 中國科學院遺傳與發育生物學研究所研究員, 博士生導師。
主要經歷
1994年獲蘭州大學生物系生態學及環境生物學學士;
1997年獲中科院遺傳研究所遺傳學碩士;
2003年獲Iowa State University遺傳學,生物信息及計算生物學雙專業博士學位(Co-major).
2003-2006年,為The Scripps Research Institute 免疫系博士後;
2006-2008年,為University of California, San Diego病理系及癌症研究中心博士後。
2008-2009年,為University of California, San Diego病理系Assistant Project Scientist.
2009年11月加入中國科學院遺傳與發育生物學研究所,入選中國科學院"百人計畫"。
研究方向
1.運動細胞的蛋白質組學
細胞在外界化學因子的誘導下會產生形態變化和定向運動(Chemotaxis or Directional cell migration). 這個反應對生物生長發育過程中的一些重要的生理及病理過程起著至關重要的作用.如癌細胞的轉移與擴散就是一種定向性細胞運動.我們將套用功能蛋白質組學研究運動細胞(包括癌細胞和神經細胞)在運動過程中的形態控制和信號轉導機制. 並找出控制細胞運動的關鍵性蛋白和關鍵性翻譯後修飾, 為與細胞運動相關的疾病的診斷和治療提供靶標。
2. 生物信息學及計算生物學
我們的生物信息及計算生物學研究主要是用來服務白質組學研究。我們將開發一些套用軟體來處理大規模的蛋白質組學數據和進行功能性預測. 同時我們建立一個關於蛋白質磷酸化位點的網路資料庫 (a web-based relational database). 這個資料庫將包括磷酸化位點的功能和量化方面的信息.預計這個資料庫對於預測蛋白磷酸化信息與細胞的生物學表型之間的聯繫起到重要的作用。
3.生物膜的功能蛋白質組學
生物膜含有多種蛋白,包括各種受體,通道,以及具有催化活性的酶.膜蛋白對於生物的生長,發育,以及對外界環境變化的應答起著極其重要的作用.然而由於膜蛋白的不溶性,對它們的研究遠遠落後於對可溶性蛋白的研究.我們近期將利用光合藍藻的thylakoid membrane作為材料,進行膜蛋白的功能蛋白質組學和生物信息學研究. 未來我們還將開展動物細胞生物膜的功能蛋白質組學研究.
