長期從事高分子材料的加工與套用研究，主要有生物質材料與合成高分子材料共混研究、高分子材料反應性擠出、高分子絕緣及電子封裝材料、工程塑膠共混改性、功能高分子材料的開發和套用等。迄今為止在國內外雜誌上已發表論文近四十篇，已授權中國專利四項。
