樊新，男，漢族，1976年9月出生，湖南祁東人，博士。現在桂林理工大學材料科學與工程學院從事高分子材料方面的教學和科研工作。

講授本科生課程：聚合物共混改性材料，實驗、實習指導。
科學研究
主要從事高分子材料的實驗和理論研究，發表學術論文11篇；研究方向涉及可降解高分子材料的、高分子-高分子複合材料、金屬-高分子複合材料以及高分子-無機複合材料等方面。主持桂林理工大學博士基金一項；主持中南大學博士研究生創新基金一項(No.1343 -74334000011)；參加完成國家自然科學基金四項(No.59274154，No.50774096，No.50174059，No.50604017)；參加完成863計畫項目一項(No.2006AA218011)。
