教育和工作經歷
1999年蘭州大學生命科學學院本科畢業；2004年蘭州大學獲理學（生態學）博士學位；2004年7月-2005年1月香港浸會大學（Hong Kong Baptist University）生物系進行博士後研究。
2005年3月作為“萃英計畫”引進人才被蘭州大學特聘為副教授，在草地農業科技學院工作；同年，聘為碩士生導師。2006年10-12月在澳大利亞阿德萊德大學（The University of Adelaide）進行合作研究；2009年10月-2010年10月在美國杜克大學（Duke University）進行訪問研究；2011年5月被蘭州大學聘為教授。
研究專業及方向
主要從事植物逆境生理、分子生態學方面的研究。在植物抗逆生理生態回響、植物抗逆信號轉導機制、氣孔運動調控及光合生理生態和草類植物生理學等方面開展研究。
