摘要 | 從我國四川和香港土壤中分離出四株小雙孢菌, 編 號分別為18, 71, 72和32號. 前三株菌氣生菌絲短, 較貧 乏, 產生成縱對孢子, 有時產生深褐色素, 鑑定為棕褐小 雙孢菌新種(Microbispora brunnea sp. nov.). 32號菌 株氣絲青灰色, 產生成縱對的梭形孢子, 孢子表面有明顯 的鞘膜, 鑑定為青灰小雙孢菌新種 (Microbispora caesia sp.nov.). |
Abstract | Among six bacterial strains of positive nitrogenase activity isolated from the stored seeds of rice, strain 7954 was selected forextensive characterization. The bacterial cells are gram-negative, straight rot-shaped, singly or in pairs with peritrichate flagella,produceing plenty granules of poly-B-hydroxybutyric acid within the cells and excreting a lot of viscous and tough substance of gum-like slime.During growth the colour of its colony changed from yellowish to mahoganybrown gradually. Neither endospore nor cyst was found.It is anaerobic bacterium with respiratory metabolism and catalas negative. Strain 7954 grows very poor on the potato slant, thus the medium colour remains unchanged.Nitrate is reduced, nitrogenase activity positive. The strain can grow at a temperature range of 12-42'C, but at 32-35'C for optimum.Growth pH 5.3 to 9.5 with the optimum at pH 6.8-7.9. The G+C content of DNA is 74.3±0.12 moles percentage. The DNA homology percentagebetween strain 7954 and strain Derxia gummosa is 54% by extraneous DNA-DAN hybridization. On the base of morphological culturalbiochemical properties and hybridization this organism is identified as a new species of Derxia and the name Deria peritricha sp. nov.Wu et Chen is proposed. The type culture has been deposited at the Laboratory of Microbiology, Fujian Agricultural College, Fuzhou, Fujian. |
