學校簡介
梅里蒂安社區學院創建於1937年，它最初的學院名字稱為梅里蒂安大專學院，在1987年正式改名稱為梅里蒂安社區學院。在1970年，在梅里蒂安市政府的獨立學校系統的命令下，梅里蒂安社區學院與非常有名黑人學校T.J. Harris大專學院合併。400多名從T.J. Harris大專學院進入了梅里蒂安社區學院進行學習，學校規模得以擴大。
梅里蒂安社區學院在1980年終於打破梅蒂里安公共學校的限制，建立了自己的校區，成立了學校的董事會。

梅里蒂安社區學院向大眾提供專業廣泛的大專課程。學生們可以在工科領域內選擇建築貿易科技專業、廣播專業、車間技術專業以及其他眾多專業中就讀，也可以選擇醫學、科學、工程學、數學、經濟學、教育、語言、法律、建築學和其他專業學習。
