梅志剛,1977年6月生,湖北黃梅人,博士,教授,碩士生導師,三峽大學第八屆十大傑出青年,三峽大學中醫醫院宜昌市中醫醫院名醫堂外聘主任中醫師,為中國藥膳研究會理事,中國生理學會會員、中國針灸學會會員,宜昌市中醫藥學會常務理事、宜昌市中西醫結合學會理事,宜昌市醫學會康復分會、市中醫藥學會針灸分會常務委員。

2007年獲中國中醫科學院中西醫結合醫學博士學位,2011年11月赴美國韋恩州立大學醫學院訪問研究,現任三峽大學科學技術處副處長,三峽大學國家中醫藥管理局中藥藥理科研三級實驗室副主任,三峽大學針灸研究所副所長,三峽大學茶葉研究中心主任,國家自然科學基金項目同行評議專家;為《Food & Function》、《PLOS ONE》、《BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine》、《Neuropeptides》、《Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Physiology》、《Clinical Epidemiology》、《Trails》、《Acupuncture in Medicine》、《Journal of International Medical Research》、《Complementary Therapies in Medicine》、《Drug Design, Development and Therapy》和《中國全科醫學》等十餘種專業期刊審稿人。

主要研究成果
1. 發現耳迷走神經與孤束核及迷走神經背核存在神經聯繫,耳迷走神經分布區穴位電刺激能激活膽鹼能抗炎通路,有效減輕糖尿病炎症反應;
2. 耳迷走神經分布區穴位電刺激加聲音掩蔽能有效減輕神經性耳鳴的耳鳴致殘疾程度和致煩躁程度,初步探明其可能與調節聽覺中樞神經可塑性有關;
3. 初步探明葛根素防治缺血性腦血管病機制,可能與激活膽鹼能抗炎通路抑制炎症有關,還可能與調節細胞自噬相關;
4. 發現民族藥藍布正具有較好的防治缺血性腦血管病作用,其潛在作用機制可能與激活PI3K/Akt通路,抑制細胞凋亡有關;
5. 發現了一種中藥組合物的發酵液具有防治缺血性腦病的作用,其機制與抗炎、抗氧化密切相關;
6. 發表學術論文80餘篇,其中SCI源刊論文20篇;申請發明專利13項,獲批4項;主編或參編著作4部。成果獲中國中西醫結合學會科學技術獎三等獎、中國中醫科學院科學技術進步獎一等獎和湖北省科技進步三等獎各1項,宜昌市科技進步二等獎2項
