梁燦彬，男，1938年生於中山石岐，後為躲避戰亂，與家人移居澳門。1952-1955年在廣東省廣雅中學讀高中，1955年考入北師大物理系，1959年畢業並留系任教。1981-83年在美國芝加哥大學任訪問學者，回國後長期擔任基礎課、專業課教學及科研工作。1986年起任教授，後任博導，1999年退休後應邀先後（及同時）在北師大、清華大學、中國科學院數學院講課多次。著書七部，發表科研論文45篇。
