1988年獲中國水利水電科學研究院博士
工作經歷
1988年至1990年曾任天津大學水資源與港灣工程系講師
1990年至1995年在英國Bardford大學做博士後、研究員
1996年至1997年任英國Babtie工程和環境諮詢公司高級工程師
1997年至2010年在英國卡迪夫大學任職,2007年晉升為教授
2006年至2008年被聘為北京師範大學985兼職教授,入選國家第三批千人計畫
2011年來校工作,任水利系教授
研究方向
主要從事計算流體力學、明渠湍流、泥沙運動和環境流體力學模擬等領域的研究工作。
水力學與河流、海岸動力學、環境水力學。目前主要從事河床演變、潮汐能利用和城市洪水等方面的研究工作。研究方法包括數學模型模擬、物理模型實驗和理論分析。

研究概況
工程套用方面涉及洪水預測、河口水質模擬、潮汐發電和水環境評估等,包括在河口複雜水動力環境下的水、沙、污染物和微生物耦合關係。 數學模型被套用在英國主要河口的環境影響評估研究。
主持或參與研究項目34個,其中50%為英國基金委項目。發表論文餘150篇,其中SCI收錄50餘篇、EI收錄40餘篇。指導博士生20餘名,其中16人已獲得博士學位。2007年被英國Bradford大學授予高級工程博士學位(Doctor of Engineering)。2008年起成為世界著名工程諮詢公司奧雅納集團公司(Ove Arup)水環境部門的專業顧問。
