林支桂，男，1965年5月出生，先後應邀到丹麥Technical大學、 Roskilde大學、新加坡國立大學、韓國Pohang科技大學、澳大利亞New England大學、 加拿大York大學等作短期學術訪問或進行合作研究。2003年獲教授任職資格。目前在揚州大學數科院工作，從事套用數學方面的研究，是揚州大學博士研究生導師、江蘇工業與套用數學學會常務理事、中國數學會生物數學學會常委理事、《生物數學學報》和International Journal of Biomathematics 雜誌編委。

1989年在蘇州大學數學系獲得理學碩士學位，師從姜禮尚教授；
1998年在南京大學數學系獲得理學博士學位，師從謝春紅教授；
1999年9月得到國家留學基金委的資助,在丹麥的科技大學留學一年；
2001年在韓國的浦項科技大學作博士後研究一年；
主講課程
本科生的實變函式、數學物理方程、計算方法等；
研究生的Sobolev空間與L2理論、二階橢圓型方程、非線性發展方程、生物數學模型與方法等。
