材料力學》也引進了多個版本的英文原版教材,但由於教育體制和教學模式的差異,一時還很難直接用於我國目前的課程教學。縮編和改編是把優秀原版教材引入雙語教學的橋樑。我們在開展材料力學雙語教學的過程中,針對本專業的特點,嘗試在國外優秀教材基礎上精選其主體內容並進行適當縮編的方式,取得了較好的效果。通過幾年的教學實踐我們體會到,縮編的原版教材有內容貼近教學和語言原汁原味等特點,適於教學。
